Beginner 1 In-Person Thursdays

Have you always wanted to learn Spanish but did not know how to start? We provide an exciting and fun environment where you will learn the basics of the Spanish language and learn how to communicate and interact in different situations. This class is an immersion class, a newer approach to learning a language. It’s challenging, but also fun and interactive!

Classes run for 9 weeks and meet 1 day per week for 2 hours. 

A textbook is required, and you may purchase it from us for $55 and receive it on the first day of class or purchase it on your own using ISBN 9788419236050: Aula Internacional Plus 1 Edición Inglesa – Edición Híbrida. This book lasts through Beginner 3, and we will buy it back from you for $20 if you don’t write in it.

Make-up Classes: It’s no problem to miss 1 or 2 classes during the session. Your teacher will send you homework to help you keep up. We always review material from each previous class. We do not have standard make-up classes available. Our classes are very small and tend to fill up, so often there is not space available to attend an alternative class on a different day. You may check with your teacher, but in general it's not widely available. It is ok to miss 1 or 2 classes without falling behind.  

Holiday and Weather/Emergency Policy: If a class falls on a holiday and everyone in the class agrees to hold class, we will.  If anyone in the class is not able to attend due to the holiday, the group will agree on a make-up date or the session will be extended by 1 week.  Any unforeseen circumstances, like poor weather conditions, will also require the group to agree a make-up date or extend the session by 1 week.
